5W/40 is best all around for your temperature. 5w is thin enough for cold start and normal days. 40W is good for high temps. Unless you sit in bumper to bumper traffic in hot weather with the A/C running this is a good choice.
BTW: 5W/40 is not a diesel only oil.
Mobil One -OR- Castrol Syntec
Shell Rotella T6 as last choice.
