The bearings in the JR idlers are NSK 6200V bearings and the idler is nylon. I don't know who the OE supplier is. Would be much cheaper from the source. The price on these idlers has almost doubled in the last few years from the Miata suppliers. There's currently a 15% off sale at Moss.

Some have used flangeless metal idlers as well.
