Find a truck, a farm, and an open field. Hop in and try to figure it out on your own. That's how I learned. I taught myself. If you can get moving without shooting dirt, you are well on your way. With the basic understanding of what you need to do, its really trial and error. If it sounds or feels like you are doing it wrong, you probably are.
