Wondering if anyone can lend advice here. I recently bought my '98 318ti Avus Blue, in excellent shape. I want to control the body roll in this car, so I am looking for a front strut bar and will add Bilstein shocks and new springs all around soon.

I ordered a strut bar from Bavarian Autosport but it fits an E36, does not fit on my car, it hits the manifold cover. Do I need E30 model? My understanding is that my car is E30 front to the A pillar (engine bay included) then E36 from A pillar on back. Is this correct? Sorry for my ignorance, I have always had a '71 2002 until recently.

Can someone advise a good strut bar for my car?
