Glad to hear you are moving to Champcar collinsk1! I ran several lemons races in the past and IMHO ChampCar consistently puts on much higher quality events. I'm sure you know all about how Lemons runs things though... Lemons = A party where a race usually breaks out ChampCar = A race where usually a party breaks out afterwards Anyways, about the ti! We just made some changes over the off season and have out first shakedown at Grattan over the memorial day weekend. For suspension the car came with Bilstein PSS non-adjustable coilover fronts and HD or sport rear shocks and Bilstein springs from the previous owner. We changed out to a stiffer front spring and still run the same rears. I'm no expert but I'm fairly certain the fronts are NLA. You could get the same results with Sport front shocks modified to accept ground control (or ebay really) adjustable lower perches. For tires we ran Advan AD08s last year (great tire but a bit pricey) and just tested Maxxis Vicrta VR-1s. I don't have a direct comparison but the VR-1s were solid even in the high temps we had both days. We are planning to switch to hankook RS4s for Nelson since they are significantly cheaper and supposed to be pretty equal to the VR-1s for dry grip, wear, etc. i can let you know how they do Do you have an event you are targeting? Or is it too early to tell? We also plan to make it to Gingerman and PittRace this year as long as we keep the car incident free. Good luck! Hope we see you out there! If you have more questions about racing a ti in ChampCar (or just ChampCar) let me know and I might have answers
