Hmm. the way I understand it is the first number, say a 225 is the width from the face of the wheel to the back. and the second number, say a 45 is the thickness from the edge of the wheel to the end of the tire. Which is why my wheels being 225 rear and 205 front have a noticeable difference in appearance. And I mean bulging beyond the face of the wheel in the back, and a bit stretch in the front. |
