The thermostat you removed was probably causing your overheating problems if its not overheating without one. Just an observation, but if the waterpump isn't working correctly in Miami, FL, you would have toasted the engine long ago. There are plenty of threads here detailing overheating issues with the M42/M44 engine. That should encourage you to update the cooling system components for hundreds before it overheats costing thousands. +1 Roadrash on the cat. That thing is nearly thousands for a good oem. __________________ SOLD!!! 1999 332ti //M Sport Titanium Silver M3 S52 3.2 I-6 Engine, M3 Clutch w/ ti Getrag Trans, Z3 3.15 LSD medium case diff and half shafts, OEM Hatch Spoiler, Eurosport HP Underdrive Pulleys, FDM, 17" DS1 rims, M3 Front Struts & Springs, M3 Instrument Cluster, 3-spoke //M steering wheel with tri-color stitching, SSK, CCFL Angels in Depo projectors with 5k HIDs Last edited by campaiar; 05-21-2010 at 05:44 PM. |
