Hi, this is my first post on this forum.
My car is a 318is (not ti, but the engine is the same
) m44 1.9 .
I have see that the FI on BMWs in America is very frequent.
I'm thinking for doing a custom supercharger kit with the original eprom and originals iniectors (as DASC system), only with a fpr.
The DASC is a good kit for 200 bhp of power, but it's have a custom manifold for move the "throttle valve" upstream the supercharger. Now I don't have removed the manifold and there isn't enought space for move the throttle valve. Can I leave it before the supercharger? It make noises? I have read that is request a sort of by-pass valve. Where I can buy it?
And, the last question, what fpr I need?
P.S.: I have buy a mercedes 230k supercharger on ebay (eaton M62), an intercooler from a bmw 330diesel and the complete clutch kit from a e36 euro m3.
thanks,
bye
