john I will follow your lead its not worth doing if its not a noticeable improvement and results in still feeling loose..
but now I really have my work cut out for me..

1) replace tranny + mounts
2) replace clutch
3) replace flex disc
4) replace bush on clutch arm
5) overhall shifter with MZ3 one - you have to bend the shifter rod right?

1 + 2 really was not on my agenda....the car is more then driveable and Ive been told apart for the 1 control arm bush it will pass a mot fine.
But I feel like I fighting all these different areas at once ... clutch slipping symptoms, syncro/throw out bearing, sloppy selector.
