Yes that is a correct assumption. I was pretty excited when I saw they offered the adapters to complete a full e36 m3 setup. I asked to confirm and it does seem like you loose your parking brake for the e36 m3 rear rotors/calipers. As my car is mostly a street car I opted for the non-M adapters in order to keep my parking brake.
