I've only hit the rev limiter a few times - when I had my exhaust off the car, the Dinan sw didn't work properly and my rev limit was back to stock. . . Given my driving habits, I've already anticipated replacing the clutch/tranny and likely engine sometime around 200k. (As I've done more work on the car, my confidence in doing an engine swap keeps going up). I'm at 138k with the original engine, tranny, and clutch. Only tranny issue is a slightly worn synchro in 3rd (in my defense, it was like that when I got the car). |
