I removed the pin and transferred it to the other connector. If i recall it was fairly easy. There is a plastic retaining/locking ring on the face of the connector. You twist this slightly ccw to unlock the pins. You can then pull them out of the housing. search for x20 pin removal and you should get some hits on how this is done.
