 Electrical Problem
Do you have a spare key? The problem you are having may be the computer chip (EWS) in the key. When I first got my car I had the dealer make up a spare key ($83), and it did not start the car. The dash lights came on but the starter did not work?? At first I thought weak battery because the car had been sitting, but when I used the key that came with the car it started fine. I took the key back to the dealer and they had to replace it, the chip was wrong?? They were not happy the replacement was on them. I have been using the replacement for a year and half no more problems. I would check the key first, electrical parts are usually not returnable. Hate to see you buy a relay and find out thats not the problem. I allways start with simple stuff first and work up from there. Good Luck. |
