I finally got some information about the 1284 code!!! From what I've discovered that code is thrown when your alternator is becoming faulty or has been faulty. I replaced my alternator last fall and did the reset trick and I've drove about 50 miles so far and no codes!!! WOOT! If anyone wants/needs to know the reset trick let me know. Even though I'm not sure what all cars it works on, but I do know for sure it works on a 94 318is!! Hope this helps some people with that 1284 code. |
