So my 318ti will not start, we replaced the starter, fuel filter, and fuel pump with brand new ones...but all it does now is crank but no start

If we put starting fluid in it it will start for maybe 1 second then just cut off.... So what's the deal? And NOW what do i need to check? It has spark if that helps
