Default 3.45 LSD question

Does anyone know if a 3.45 lsd off a e36 318is will fit a ti? I'm not sure they will fit due to the difference in the rears of a is and a ti. Also on my diff, there is a number 345V1862 stamped on the heatsink. I'm hoping that this number signifies that I have the 3.45 lsd. Anyways, any help would be appreciated.
