Well, BMW said that it has to be reprogrammed. My brand new one is grayish. Maybe the original is purple, which would have been why I didnt see it. Ill try it out tomorrow. The parts guy said it just has to be plugged in but service said it has to be reprogrammed. Anyone know which of these are true. I have an appt on Monday morning. Not needed if they dont have to reprogram. Thanks a lot you two. I HAVE to get a bentley manual soon. __________________
