Default 1997 318ti Active $3200 - Los Angeles

Selling a 1997 BMW 318ti Active with 177,000 miles. Automatic transmission. Check Engine Light is on due to "Mis-fire" code. So its not passing inspection because of the Check Engine light being on. Posting it here before it goes back on CL. $3000 OBO.

The car runs and drives great and is very reliable. Gas mileage is great. Its been very well maintained with all the service records and receipts. Transmission is great, shifts smooth and in good shape.

The Good:
New Pioneer MP3/CD Player stereo AUX input so you can hook up to the car for hands free talking also new rear speakers.

BMW factory Alarm system, Leather Interior, SUNFOOR! power windows, power door locks, cruise control, power steering, drivers Airbags, Xenon HID Headlights, Fog lights. On Board computer with time, outside air temp, MPG readout, miles left, etc.

Brand New Heater Core,
New OEM Windshield Cowlings
HID Xenon Head lights Installed
New Windshield whipers

The Bad:
After I replaced the Valve Cover seal, I started to notice a very small oil leak. I don't know if the valve cover seal was seated improperly, or if there the half moon circles in the back of the valve cover are properly aligned.
Before I did the valve cover seals, it did not have any oil leaks, so I am guessing that's where the leak is coming from. I dont have any more time or money to invest so that's why I am letting it go for $3200. Im sure one of you can figure it out.

Drivers seat cushion has a tear in it, and the headliner is starting to sag. But overall the interior is pretty clean. Its my wife's car, so I have to make sure that it is clean for her to use to drive to work everyday. Its her daily driver so I wouldn't put my wife in something that is unreliable. She drives about 50miles a day.

Radiator support, nose panel and hood are were replaced from a donor 318ti, I replaced these parts because my wife had a small fender bender and replaced these parts instead of doing any body work. (I hate bondo) It was much easier to repaint, and re-bolt instead of doing body work. (radiator support was from green 318i, and nose panel/hood was from a hellrot red 318ti)

I have all the receipts and service records while I have owned this car, and the PINK SLIP in hand. CLEAN TITLE. It was as always maintained at MiniWorx/BMW Worx in Redondo Beach and Santa Monica BMW. Its super fun, we've loved driving and owning but its time to move on. Lots of great memories with this little car. We will miss it. The roof rack has already been sold so that is not available with the car. Call or text 310-367-0445. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Daniel
