It depends.

Since the car is over 25 it can probably get a classic car or antique car registration, and the rules change. A ‘64 cord might have had a salvage rifle and now been completely restored to new, so that probably wouldn’t be a problem to register with a state inspection.

So check- even in Nevada you might be able to register it.
