THe TPS shouldn't be part of the chassis harness. On mine the tps was part of the DME ecu harness.

If I was you, I would use an ohm meter and basically test all your 3 wire connectors under the intake manifold to the spots on the DME plug. Look in the manual and find what wires go to the DME for TPS then set the ohm meter to the beep mode, touch both leads on the ohm meter together and if it beeps begin with my instructions.

It's possible you plugged the clip for TPS into the idle air control solenoid instead... BMW uses alot of the same connectors and it's easy to mix them up.

You will figure it out!! You're soo close. If I was you, I would also check all your other sensor plugs with the manual.
