Just got too excited not to post about it... my s50 swapped ti just recently had the exhaust custom done with a 2 into 1 at the cat(new highflow single cat), and then a single 2.5inch all the way back, well I drove a round a bit with just the straight pipe but knew I needed a muffler, I hemmed and hawed about what to get but found a few good deals on the BORLA XR-1 Race muffler, and decided to go with it. I listened to the sounds of a bunch of other exhausts and alot sound similar in that category that I was looking at. I really like the stromung, but as far as I can tell they don;t just make the muffler you gotta get the whole exhast, and with the swap it ain't gonna fit(or so I think) anyway, I got part number 40942, 16" case, 2.5 in/out single exhaust, and it arrived today! I installed it and mmmmmmmmm, that sweet sound of awesome. I already took before and after vids of the sound from my camera, and will be posting them ASAP. Just thought I would share the info and give my opinion on how nice it sounds, not too loud (quite quiet inside the cabin actually) but just a really nice tone to it, not raspy, not growly like a muscle car, its just what I had wanted. Thanks for bothering to read all that, I hope it may help someone if they are looking for the same type of setup and what to get. also, It makes it way too easy to go fast because I don't feel like I am waking up the dead when I hit on it now it just sounds beautiful.
