The answer is, sortof,, the front springs on the E36 are the same other than the normal height and stiffness specs. The rear it depends on the source, and how they intend the springs to be installed. E30 rear springs match the TI you just have to fo the homework on height and stiffness. The rear TI suspension is just a E30 setup..

I like the white car a little better, that red one would be road kill for the spoiler and under tray in my part of the country. But I'm a substance over style guy, I'd rather have the car a tic higher and not have to worry about hitting the front on curbs.

Have to be careful over lowering trashes the alignment on the TI and the only right way to fix it, is to buy a modified PRO-3 rear suspension beam. It already has a lot of neg camber and lowering makes it worse. The modified rear beams fix that. (Google BMW PRO-3)
