Aside from the obvious (fuel / air filter, plugs, o2 sensors, tire pressure), what weight oil are you kids running? Auto/Manual? What mode (if auto)? I'd give that seafoam stuff a shot too.
I used to get about 450 miles to the tank; when I added the roof racks it only dropped about 50 miles from the range. 80-90mph the entire way, and often triple digits in certain areas. It's more driving style than speed.
FYI, both Chevron and Shell are reputable fuel companies. Only if you're going to boondock stations the day they fill tanks should that be a concern. __________________
