Dude i just got this fixed a couple of days ago. Mine did the same thing. In the end i had to replace the lock assembly, lock cylinder, and ews ring antenna. After going through 2 mobile mechanics and not being able to get it done, i took it to the dealer. For labor alone it was $580 plus parts it came out around $800. Good luck with it its a pain in the arse to it. Edit: I wouldn't do a lock smith because they will only guarantee the lock cylinder. Well at least that's what i was told. There's no reason to replace the lock cylinder if it's the assembly that's broken. |
