decided to remove the 2 counter-acting nuts from the rear.. should give me an additional 1/4 - 1/2 inch or so... BUT, the springs are sort of loose when the car is off the ground, as it is now. little worried about this, but I'll give it a good old college try anyway.

cant deal with the rake look any more... got to eliminate ALL daylight between the car & the ground! v-dub style LOL

if it fails - going Jessy style - H&R race for the rear & see what happens...

EDIT: just came back from the garage... undid the nuts all the way past the last thread, as far as they can go (the bottom one, anyway) & gave myself another 5mms at least. inspected the springs - which are firmly in place.
gonna drop 1 nut first (& keep 1) - which should give me another fraction of an inch... if that too fails to satisfy me, I'll eliminate both. measured the thickness of the 2 combined nuts - & if I lose both of them, the car should sit (almost) just right!
