I just completed my swap myself (and two friends) last weekend. You guys have definitely done your homework and have a good grasp on what is needed. Its definitely worth the work and planning, I love the car even more in this config. Just a few things from experience: - Grounding #5 and #7 pins from the auto selector WILL allow the car to start. It basically wires the car into "Park". Problem is, the Cruise Control won't engage in "Park". There are a couple different fixes for this on Bimmerforums. - You have to change the diff. I threw in a 3.64, and I'm still at 4k rpms at 80mph. Really fast setup though. - Leather shift boot is a pain to find. $45 at the dealer though. Good luck with your swap. Feel free to ask me anything you want if you get stuck. __________________ SOLD!!! 1999 332ti //M Sport Titanium Silver M3 S52 3.2 I-6 Engine, M3 Clutch w/ ti Getrag Trans, Z3 3.15 LSD medium case diff and half shafts, OEM Hatch Spoiler, Eurosport HP Underdrive Pulleys, FDM, 17" DS1 rims, M3 Front Struts & Springs, M3 Instrument Cluster, 3-spoke //M steering wheel with tri-color stitching, SSK, CCFL Angels in Depo projectors with 5k HIDs |
