Hi Monica!

All are easy to replace if you have 4 jack stands a floor jack, A set of wobble socket extensions to reach the top nuts for the front motor mounts, and 13mm Sockets/wrench for the tranny mounts and trans cross member.

I believe the tranny cross member is the same for E36s. Check RealOEM. then grab one off a salvage yard for pennies off a new one.

Once you do replace them I suspect the car will drive so much smoother with a feel of slightly more power.

Do you need a DIY for changing the mounts? There are a few write-ups for E36 and E39s that are applicable. Drop a note here if you can't locate any.

Good luck!
