I think i finally got it. Though all of my normal ways of tracking down a vacuum leak didn't work, turns out that is what it was. Or at least appears to be. Used Berrymans Chemtool this time sprayed around and found nothing wrong. Then sprayed around injector #4 and the engine stumbled. Did it a few times and the same occurred. Initially hoped that the rebuild of the vacuum tree was the cause as I used fuel line and ordered a replacement tree assembly from AutohausAZ.com and pulled the upper intake and replaced the tree. Re-assembled and still the same stumble. So removed the intake again and removed the injectors and low and behold, #3 AND #4 lower o-rings were hard as rocks. Replaced all four to be safe, a little dielectric grease and reassembled.

Got her started, perfect idle and no more leaks! So if the CEL stays off for the week, I should be able to get her to pass smog on Saturday morning!
