I am from Southern California in the United States. I am 18 years old, still living under family's roof. I have searched many months for a 318ti and finally found one for a very decent price as well. While my car can't compete with many European BMW's since it was sold here, I did put some of my own hard earned money into it. The car was built in 1998, yet it has only approx. 63,000 miles (a little over 100,000km) on it. Since in America, clear lights used to be illegal and amber was required, to make it unique, I changed the original amber taillights and turn signals to the clear chrome color,
its the only 318ti I've ever seen in person over here with those lights. It also has a very unique stock forest green color that's not too outdated looking and still has a great shine to it. I have only seen one other 318ti ever in its color. All of this: approx. $6,000USD This is my first car, and already my favorite of all
