Yeah, Steven actually had it this way before but somewhere along the line, perhaps during site upgrades it came back. You'll still get the email saying that you've received a PM or a reply to your post but it won't contain the actual message that was posted. Basically what happens is people will get the email and then mistakenly reply to the email instead of returning to the site and replying to the actual PM or thread, lol. This means that Steven gets a pile of foreign messages in his inbox. So by not including the contents of the message in the email notification, it basically forces the recipient to log on and check the messages directly. |
