I had mine done custom from the y-pipe off the headers into a single 2.5" all the way back. It is true that you cannot easily use the OEM M3 muffler, it's just too large to properly fit where the muffler is supposed to fit, plus it bends to the right.

I have posted pics of my exhaust several times in various threads. It has no drone, is quiet and stealthy, and has a good flow without losing needed back pressure.
