I found out what happened - classic slave cylinder explosion into the bell housing (apparently common). I took the tranny out again, took out the broken pieces, realigned the clutch arm, throwout bearing, properly seated the pilot bearing, and rebolted the tranny. All smooth - now I just have to get my new slave cylinder which I ordered and bleed by hand this time. |
