Going to look at it tonight, but unless there's some big surprise, I think I'm going to.
The clutch symptoms he mentioned don't sound like a bad clutch. He said it doesn't slip, but in 1st gear at full throttle it'll buck hard. Normal throttle and in other gears, no problems. Maybe a bad motor mount?
Since he bought it at 70K and it's now at 240K, I assume that he put a clutch in it at some point, so I need to find out when. |
