I paid for the dealer to do this once. Each time, it would fail within the 1 year warranty period. After dealing with that three times, I decided to do it on my own. It has been doing well for the past year and a half. Two additions I might add to this are to grease the tracks using a teflon lubricant ($6, Lowe's) instead of grease. Also, replace the rubber parts that "wipe" the window when it goes down.
