Thanks Joe. I loosened up the trans mounts and crossmember and with the help of my roommate, was able to get the engine positioned.

Steps I took:
  1. Loosen the crossmember bolts and lower trans mounts nuts to allow more movement
  2. Driver side mount (bottom nut snug) - Person 1 pulls the hoist/engine over while person 2 checks if the stud lines up
  3. Person 2 slowly lowers the hoist while person 1 continues to hold it in position
  4. Put top nut on driver side mount just enough that it won't come off, jack hoist back up until passenger side mount will fit into place
  5. Person 1 holds mount into place (lined up correctly) while person 2 lowers the hoist
  6. Torque both sides to 33 ft/lbs and replace / tighten trans mounts and crossmember
