I have no technical experience in the matter, so what I know is what I've learned from my father, who is a mechanical engineer. He said the stock bearing is fine, is a matter of the quality of the seal ring that is not there in the one Fennel used. That's why I was suggesting SKF or FAG bearing which are high quality. The type of bearing is 6203-2RSR. You can find them on Amazon and they are cheap.

Here's the technical specs of that bearing: http://www.mediafire.com/file/ygny5t...06203-2RSR.pdf

Give these to the machine shop since they have the specs for the tolerance in the housing so that the bearing fits tight, but you can still service it...

The draws I posted have the measurement of the stock pulley.

Since the bearing are so cheap, my thought was to make the pulley housing in aluminium and replace the bearing every 20K miles just so that you remain on the safe side. Maybe if you go thtough it, I would monitor the bearing the first few thousand miles and assess the condition. It's obvious when it gains play.

If you decide to to make these and sell them I have no problem with it... But if you get overly rich, at least get us a beer...
