Thanks for your reply guys. The clogged drain tube experience confirms my suspicion- now I have to actually prove it! Gonna go to a craft store and see if they sell GI-GAN-TIC pipe cleaners or something.

BTW my 1988 Acura Integra (179K, winter car, stuff hauler) has a nasty habit of collecting rain water inside the headliner via the sunroof. Think it has a clogged tube also. Instead of draining into the interior and soiling my seats, it stays up there until I come to a hard stop. Then inertia takes over and sends the water forward and DOWN ONTO THE BACK OF MY NECK. Man that wakes you up! Especially during those cold November rains. Think I'll clear hers too.
