with the doors unlocked, push the button in (the keyhole on the hatch)and at the same time push down on the hatch itself. Sounds like you have a sticky latching mechanism. Once you get it open, hose it down with some good penetrating agent such as breakfree or PB blaster, wipe it clean and lube with a good grease. |
