lot's of reasons for deleting EWS over the electrical swap. I get requested all the time for crashed and burned M3's. The DME is like a black box on a plane it can handle a lot of madness before it dies. A lot of guys also want a DME with street tune and spare dme with Track tune. it's a easy swap with no EWS
