OK gang, it's going up on Bring a Trailer in a day or two or whenever they get around to processing it. They wanted a ton of information, so I've been going through my paperwork. I never realized how much was done to the car before I bought it in 2008. The build sheet indicates that the car was completely rebuilt back then with new everything, including a new radiator, a/c, fuel pump, clutch, hoses, etc. That probably explains why the car never broke during the 35,000 miles I put on it in the 11 years I've owned it . Boy, I'm going to miss this car. It's the most reliable race car I've owned since my '72 Datsun 510 rally car (which never broke, either). I've seen some outrageous auctions on Bring a Trailer--similar cars going for $25,000 and more--so here's hoping this one will sell for a fortune, too. |
