checked inj output. signals ok.
pulled the plugs, they look like hell, so i went ahead and replaced them. still no start.
after some thinking...i got fuel, spark and compression...no reason it would'nt run. ran a vac check, it was low.
more thinking...
pulled a 02 sensor and cranked it. it fired right up, exsessive back pressure caused by clogged/ broken cat. put sensor back in, starts, stumbles and dies, then no start. pull o2 again, cranks right up after purging cyl.
so a plugged cat it was. thought i would post my findings after reading for hours different thread...only to find no answer!! |
