I'm registered on that site with a Hotmail address. It's been several years since I registered. I'll see if I can let an admin over there know that you guys are having issues. There's actually not too much useful information on there for us. There is some relevant stuff about the rear suspension that can be helpful and a tiny bit of useful stuff about engines. While the late E30 M42s and the E36 M42s share many parts, there are significant differences. The entire intake manifold is different and I believe the E36 M42 may have more sensors than the E30 version.

Update:
I just found a thread over there from a couple of weeks ago where they were discussing this. The guy that runs the site has intentionally disabled new accounts with addresses from free email providers because of the amount of spammers they've been getting. His suggestion is that you use an address from work, school, or your ISP. It doesn't sound like he's interested in changing that policy at this point. Here are a couple of his quotes:

"Sorry, but it's not difficult to find a free email host you can use here. Two allowed ones have big names on the internet. Besides that, almost every internet provider gives you 5 free email accounts. This is what I encourage people to use."

"No longer can Yahoo, Gmail, or MSN email be used to register for this site. If you have to change your email these also will not work (if you already are using it, you are fine). And it's not just those three, a WIDE variety of them have been blocked. I admit not every free email provider is blocked, that is impossible, but a lot have."
