OBD I was from 1992 to 1995
OBD II was from 1996 +
My UK 1997 is OBD II.
As for the on-board computer even though mentioned in my last post that it was hard to get a 323ti or Z3 OBC. I had a another look today and managed to source one from a 6 cylinder Z3
Will update if how & well it works here once I get it.
