i checked.. its the same all the way to 08/2000

if any one is unsure ..

and now i know that i have 2000 e36 .. heh i wasn't sure as some one diverted me to the e46 area of another forum. had me confused a little

The thing I have realized by based on what spidertri said .. is you cant actually just fix this by buying the replacements parts for affected areas because of the ball on the shifter itself .. well it might do something if you did not want to buy the selector because of the cost but i was planing on just fixing/band aid it for now.
so it does seem like there is no point just trying to replace the bushs because you will need to take out the 01 SHIFTING ARM to free 07 and 04.
