I believe the e30 muffler is a little too long to fit on the ti... Could be wrong but I've tried to fit an AC Schnitzer muffler from and older car on my to and it doesn't fit right. You can always use a Z3 exhaust, use a muffler from a 540i, I think the z4 exhaust might fit too, I've looked into the e46 exhaust but unsure of its dimensions (been looking at the e46 Remus exhaust) or go with a MagnaFlow 3 inch single inlet or 2.25 dual inlet (the sound pretty good).
