There wasn't a whole lot of attention to this thread so i slowed down on the posts. But i started tuning on it and found that with the 10lb pully on the supercharger ithe 44mm wastegate wasn't big enough to control the turbo pressure. I was getting boost creep in the higher gears. So i went back to the 6lb pully and it then was able to control the boost. I haven't heard back from barrie at midnight so i went ahead and tried out ecu masters det3. Was working well and started to play with the launch control function, and blew out the rear end and broke the driveshaft. Now I'm considering options for diff and driveshaft, even non bmw stuff possibly. At 4500 rpms on the launch control it makes 12psi and i had the final boost set at 17psi when this happened. |
