d2007k, I feel your pain! my CEL came on about 400 miles into title, I think it needs a new transmission (2nd gear grinds when its cold, fine when its been run for 10 minutes). Oil all over the engine compartment (i think it was aleaky valve cover gasket, but why were they messing with it in the first place!?). Even though there are 10 things wrong with my TI that could be fixed yesterday, and probably 10 things wrong I dont even know about yet, I love it! Everyone here is very helpful, get your hands a little dirty and you wont be sorry. Once you get it settled in I'm sure it wont disappoint you its a BMW and you can stick a washing machine in the back!
