This is a m44 engine removed from a 318ti and given to me where i left it under a bench for 5 years then pulled it out, replaced the oil and fitted a set of e36 m3 itbs. i then put it in my rally car and have totally abused it which goes to show how good these engines are. It is a totally standard m44 with the stock ecu and itbs which run really well. i will get it on the rolling road when everything opens up as it feels very strong. check my other post about a chance to win a pair of itbs. here is a video of it running
