I don't think the bolts come out or even need to be loosened. I believe the mount (fit kit) goes over the outer bolt head (for lack of a better word) of the front bolt on the car and then is pulled up and bolts/connects to the foot. This (imho) is what the instructions are showing. It would be nice if they had some damn words there to explain it along with the pictures.

Is the hole in the fit kit for the front position on the car big enough to go over the bolt (that's part of the car)? It's hard to tell from the photo. If so, then I think your kit works and will fit on your car fine. I really don't believe those bolts are meant to come out. I tried and was only able to do a partial turn. I looked at my stock BMW mounts and they just slide into place and then have a set screw to lock them into place. It would seem Thule is likely doing something similar.

The back mount appears to just be a lip that goes underneath the rear frame (just above the rear window). This is also similar to the stock BMW mount.

Do you want to try fitting it to your car again? I'm guessing it will fit/work.

If you still want to sell them, I'd would like to purchase them.
