Check with your state laws, regarding parking lamps. In california, there is no difinitive law prohibiting this, that I could find.
As long as they function when making a turn or parked on the highway(hzd's) flashing an "amber or white" color in the front, it's legal.
As far as Running lights are concerned, isnt that the function of the AE? __________________
